Coming in the new year: The Larkspur Resort Mysteries

The memoir isn't the only thing I've been writing.

Picture a small lakeside resort in BC in the last golden days of the season. Coffee going cold on the dock rail. Cabin keys on numbered hooks, most of them hanging still now. The kind of place where the water goes glass-calm by evening, everyone knows everyone, and the long memories run deeper than the lake.

Into it comes a woman in the middle of her own second act, she came for a quiet summer, and got anything but. A goodbye nobody was ready for. Secrets that were supposed to stay buried with the season. And one death that doesn't sit right with her, no matter how tidy everyone else wants it to be.

There will be mysteries, of course. But also friendship, the kind that shows up with coffee and doesn't ask permission. A slow spark of something no one saw coming. And the stubborn, hopeful business of figuring out who you get to be next.

Book One arrives in early 2027. Want to be the first to hear when it's ready? That's exactly what The 6 O'Clock Letter is for.
